01 — OVERVIEW

Building a Unified Identity Across Visual, Spatial, and Sensory Environments

An experiential identity system was developed for a large-scale event spanning print, digital, spatial, operational, and sensory environments. The project translated the theme "From the Depths to Life" into a cohesive experiential world, shaping how the event was seen, felt, and engaged with across all touchpoints.

Grounded in Jonah 2:9, the identity formed a narrative and structural foundation for the entire experience:

"But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the Lord."

The aim was to create an environment that felt trustworthy, welcoming, and unified, enabling genuine connection between attendees and the Word of God.

02 — APPROACH

Creating a Welcoming, Inclusive Atmosphere

Beyond visual inconsistency, the experience risked feeling intimidating, unfamiliar, or exclusive—particularly for first-time attendees. The event needed to establish trust, clarity, and emotional accessibility, creating a space where people could feel welcomed and meaningfully connected.

System insight

The core challenge was translating an abstract concept of "From the Depths to Life" into a structured identity system supporting both meaning and belonging. The visual direction symbolically utilized the properties of water and flowers to convey the concept of one's spirit emerging from the depths, to life.

03 — CONCEPT

A System of Belonging and Transformation

A metaphorical system was developed to express the journey from spiritual descent to renewal:

Water depth → spiritual descent; being overwhelmed by life's worries
Spring → rebirth and life; restoration through alignment with God's word
Flowers / growth → transformation as the visible outcome
